Terms &Conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the OT Haute Couture website at othautecouture.com and any purchase — custom or ready-to-wear — made through our atelier or online shop. By placing an order or using our website, you agree to these terms in full. Please read them carefully before proceeding.
01 — Custom Orders
Custom Order Agreement
All custom bridal gowns and evening gowns created by OT Haute Couture are made to order for a specific client. By placing a custom order and submitting your deposit, you enter into a binding agreement with OT Couture Inc. and accept all terms outlined in this section.
What “Custom” Means
A custom order at OT Haute Couture is a garment designed and constructed exclusively for you. It is built to your measurements, your chosen fabrics, and your personal vision as discussed and agreed upon at consultation. No two pieces are the same. Custom orders cannot be resold, restocked, or transferred to another client.
Deposit & Payment
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of order. This deposit confirms your order, reserves your place in our production schedule, and initiates the procurement of fabrics and materials specific to your garment.
- The deposit is non-refundable under all circumstances, including cancellation before production begins
- The remaining 50% balance is due at your final fitting or upon delivery, as agreed at the time of order
- Failure to pay the remaining balance may result in your garment being withheld until payment is received in full
- We accept payment by credit card, debit card, and bank transfer. All prices are in USD
Production Timeline
Custom gowns typically require 8 to 16 weeks from the date of order to completion, depending on design complexity, fabric availability, and fitting schedule. This timeline is an estimate and not a guarantee. OT Haute Couture will not be held liable for delays caused by fabric sourcing, shipping, or circumstances outside our control.
If you have a fixed event date, it is your responsibility to communicate this at consultation so we can assess feasibility. Rush orders may be available at an additional charge and are subject to atelier availability.
Client Responsibilities
As a custom client, you are responsible for:
- Attending all scheduled fittings at our Los Angeles atelier, or arranging alternative fittings by prior agreement
- Providing accurate measurements and notifying us promptly of any significant body changes during the production period
- Reviewing and approving design proposals, fabric swatches, and construction at each fitting stage
- Responding to communications from our team in a timely manner to avoid production delays
Fitting Sign-Off: Your approval at each fitting stage — whether verbal, written, or by continued participation in the process — constitutes acceptance of the construction at that stage. OT Haute Couture will not be responsible for aspects of the garment that were reviewed and approved during fittings.
Design Ownership
All original designs, sketches, patterns, and creative work produced by OT Haute Couture remain the sole intellectual property of OT Couture Inc.. Commissioning a custom garment does not transfer ownership of the underlying design. You may not reproduce, share, or present OT Haute Couture designs to another designer or manufacturer for duplication.
Photography & Portfolio Rights
OT Haute Couture reserves the right to photograph completed garments for use in our portfolio, website, and social media channels. If you would prefer that your garment not be featured, please notify us in writing at the time of order. We will always handle client images with discretion and will not identify you personally without your consent.
02 — Returns & Cancellations
All Custom Sales Are Final
Custom bridal gowns and evening gowns are final sale. We do not accept returns, exchanges, or issue refunds on any custom order, for any reason, at any stage of the process.
Cancellations
You may request a cancellation at any time by submitting a written request to info@othautecouture.com. However, the following terms apply regardless of when a cancellation is requested:
- Your 50% deposit is forfeited in full, with no exceptions
- If fabric has been ordered, cut, or construction has commenced, you remain liable for the full remaining balance
- OT Haute Couture will determine in good faith what stage of production has been reached at the time of cancellation
We understand that life circumstances change. We approach every situation with care and professionalism. However, we cannot make financial exceptions to this policy, as costs are incurred on your behalf from the moment your order is placed. We encourage you to raise any concerns before placing your deposit.
Alterations After Delivery
Minor post-delivery alterations may be available through our alterations service and are quoted separately. Alteration services are non-refundable once work has commenced. Alterations requested outside the agreed scope at delivery will be treated as a new service.
03 — Ready to Wear
Ready-to-Wear Purchases & Online Orders
Returns
All ready-to-wear items purchased through our boutique or online shop are final sale. We do not accept returns for any reason, including but not limited to change of mind, sizing, or styling preference.
We encourage you to review sizing guides carefully before purchasing and to contact us at info@othautecouture.com with any questions prior to placing your order.
Exchanges
Exchanges for a different size or style may be considered on a case-by-case basis within 7 days of delivery, provided:
- The item is unworn, unaltered, and in original condition
- All original tags are attached
- Proof of purchase is provided
- The item is not marked "Final Sale" at the time of purchase
Exchanges are offered at our sole discretion and subject to availability. The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs associated with an exchange.
